Francisco Llinas has co-founded in collaboration with Paria M Goodarzi
Distanced Assemblage, an artist-led artist-led initiative based in Glasgow, Scotland. Its goal is to make a positive impact in the wellbeing and visibility of people from diverse cultural and social backgrounds by providing opportunities to engage in art making. Therefore, we aim to help people and communities connect through collaborative art projects in order to promote a sense of belonging and inspire positive changes in their lives and environment.
Distanced Assemblage responds to notions of migration, displacement and the value of art amid the social distancing situation generated by the Covid -19 pandemic. The collective has a series of ongoing social practice projects, workshops and open calls; and has participated in exhibitions and fairs such as the International Refugee Festival 2020.
